I can't find any guide to connect this EEPROM to the CarProg. I also found two pinouts, standard and special. Which one this EEPROM is using? Which adapter should I use? I don't want to screw up something and damage the EEPROM. If that happens I will have a dead IPC and that's a no-go.
I want to program the IPC on my car. For that I need the security code of this instrument cluster as I bought it second hand without code.
As I have read on another post, some guy was asking for testing this IPC on bench. I experimented with GMLAN and I did a bench tester with Arduino + MCP2515/2551 for this Dash. I will post a tutorial.
