When you insert the Stick into a USB slot in your PC, the VMC Lite software triggers your PC's Autoplay, asking you to run the software. Before implementing the steps in this tutorial, make sure your VMC Lite software IS installed. PAYG customers of O2 with ZTE dongles can unlock the dongle after a period of 6 months from the date of purchase, free of cost. Unlock codes can be entered by connecting the dongle with a new SIM inside. A window should pop up prompting you to enter the code. If not see “install generic software”. Pay for an unlock. Download Vodafone ZTE K3770Z unlocker tool and extract in a folder. Insert ZTE MF192 Orange Uganda 3G Modem Dongle to PC and let it install Orange Software with drivers. Now close the ZTE MF192 Orange Uganda 3G Modem Dongle default software and open extracted folder and run MultiCDMADownLoad.exe. Now unlocking software will detect your modem. Plug the dongle into your computer’s USB port Find your Data Dongle network and connect to it If you’re on Pay as you go, you’ll need a data pack to access the internet. If you don’t have a data pack, you’ll be redirected to vodafone.co.uk/mbbmoredata where you can choose one.
